Getting to Welcome 2 Wollongong

By Bus

The number 11 bus leaves the University at 8.37 and 9.37 in the morning and this bus will drop you off right in front of IPAC - Just look for the Welcome 2 Wollongong signs. There will also be W2W guides waiting at the University bus stop if you’d like to go on the Wollongong Walking tour.

By Train

Trains from the north and south arrive frequently at Wollongong station. You can find out when your train leaves for Wollongong and ticket costs at http://www.cityrail.info/timetable/
Once you have arrived at the station follow the map to IPAC.

By Taxi

A taxi from the University of Wollongong to IPAC should cost $15-$20, but you can save money if you travel with your friends and split the fare!

Wollongong Walking Tour
The walking tour of Wollongong is a quick way to get to know some important features of the town. The tour leaves from the uni on the number 11 bus at 8.37 9.37 and 10.37 - Look for the guides in W2W shirts. The walk takes 10 - 15 minutes before arriving at the W2W civic reception.
