Civic Reception & Mini Festival to Welcome International Students

A civic reception and mini festival to welcome international students to Wollongong tookplace on Friday the 29th of February 2008. Supported by Wollongong City Council and the University of Wollongong, the Civic Reception was held on the amphitheatre stage in Wollongong Mall.

This will be followed by a mini festival which will include national Australian singers and local singers and entertainers.

There will also be plenty of information stalls at the festival.

The festival will coincide with the Wollongong markets. The mini festival is free to all who would like to come along and has been funded by IMB Community Foundation grant and organised by the W2W working group.
